In this article, Daily Human Care is going to provide you knowledge about Vanilla oil and Vanilla essential oils, what are their uses and how to make Essential oil of Vanilla
Vanilla oil
They are combating oxidation and inflammatory infections and diseases. Vanilla oil also helps healthy skin and hair, relieves muscle pain and cramps.
Is Vanilla oil the same as vanilla extract?
Not the same things are extracts and oils. Vanilla beans are soaked in alcohol to produce vanilla extract before they infuse alcohol with their aroma and flavor. But the essential oil that is pulled out of the product — so vanilla oil consists of squeezing the beans to remove their oil.
Essential Vanilla oil
Either an oleoresin, absolute, or carbon extract is the essential vanilla oil. In fact, there is no pure essential vanilla oil. You can produce vanilla-flavored oil! The scent of natural Vanilla is nothing more divine. The explanation is that there is no genuine ‘vanilla’ essential oil.
How to Make Vanilla essential Oil
Either an oleoresin, absolute, or CO2 extract is an essential vanilla oil. Currently, pure essential oil doesn’t exist. You can make vanilla oils!
Nothing is more heavenly than the scent of genuine Vanilla. I am not speaking of home-made vanilla extract; I mean real Vanilla, straight from the bean.
However, the same fragrance in natural body care items is complicated to find. The explanation is because there is no real “vanilla” oil.
The SLOW method
For the reason that it takes a lot of time, I call this method a “slow” process! From beginning to end for three weeks! My best suggestion is to be careful. The longer it lies, the more it gets stronger. This is how it functions:
- Start with a clean (preferably sterilized) jar of masonry to make your “slow” vanilla essential oil.
- Insert 4 ounces of the light carrier oil into the container of your choosing. I chose sweet almond, but the trick will be jojoba, damaged coconut, or other fragrant, liquid carrier oil.
- Break-in half a vanilla bean and clean it out. Don’t waste anything, make sure! Put all in the oil. Cut up the rest of the bean and throw it in the oil as well.
- Give the mason jar a little flip or shake to ensure that all vanilla beans are coated with olive oil.
- Put it on the shelf and forget about it for 4-6 weeks (or in a sunny window).
- You can leave this basically vanilla oil as much as you want to intensify the fragrance (up to the shelf life of the oil).
- Drain the oil with a fine filter (or cheesecloth). I generally pour out what I can because I love those beautiful seeds of Vanilla.
It smells incredible! The taste is light, close to pure Vanilla.
The FAST method
Fast, I mean, probably the quickest way to produce essential oil. It’s not very easy, but it’s faster than the slow way. It needs that a little heat is applied. I know many people who say in a slow cooker that can’t be done, but I’m here to tell you that I did, and I succeeded! That is what I did: Here is what I did:
- Start with a sterilized or clean jar of a mason in order to make your “fast” vanilla essential oil.
- Add 8-16 ounces of the light carrier oil of your preference. In sweet almond oil, I used 10 ounces.
- Break-in half two vanilla beans and scrape them out. Don’t waste any of them! Put all in the oil, everything. Cut up the rest of the bean and throw it in the oil as well.
- Cover the mason jar and toss or swirl to ensure the oil is coated in all the vanilla beans.
- On the LOW setting, place a small slow cooker. Leave 4 hours and then stop.
- Repeat the process for four days.
- You can leave this oil as long as you want to deepens the scent (up to the shelf life of the oil).
- Press the oil with a fine filter to use your vanilla essential (or cheesecloth). I generally pour out what I can because I love those beautiful seeds of Vanilla.
